Earthquake Update - 16 June 2011

Hi there

School will be opening from tomorrow - Friday 17 June.
Could you please ensure your child brings their own drink bottle to school with clean water in it. Our water tanker has been refilled but I am unsure if this still needs to be boiled or not.
Our sewerage system is currently working, however we do have portaloos as back up should we need them.

See you tomorrow!

In Room 13 this week we have been writing poems about Autumn. Here are some of our very best poems. Come and see all of them in our Autumn Poems book in our library corner

In Autumn
In Autumn I see falling leaves carpeting the ground.
In Autumn I hear the leaves crunching along.
In Autumn I feel the leaves smooth and cracking.
In Autumn I taste hot drinks and hot food too.
In Autumn I smell the breeze blowing on my face.
By Jasmine

In Autumn
In Autumn I see beautiful leaves tumbling down.
In Autumn I hear the wind whistling.
In Autumn I feel the cold wind.
In Autumn I taste hot delicious noodles.
In Autumn I smell the damp air.
By Chenoa

In Autumn
In Autumn I see colourful leaves in their Autumn dresses; red, yellow, orange, brown - carpeting the town.
In Autumn I hear crunching leaves under my feet as I step on them.
In Autumn I feel cold in my house but in bed it's warm.
In Autumn I taste hot foods and drinks because it's going into Winter.
In Autumn I smell damp Autumn air that floats around.
By Mikaela

In Autumn
In Autumn I see colourful leaves carpeting the ground all over the town.
In Autumn I hear crunching broken leaves on the ground.
In Autumn I feel nice, warm, soft leaves.
In Autumn I taste hot chocolate and hot pie.
In Autumn I smell damp Autumn air.
